Я потеряла звук.
И вижу теперь только немые деревья.
Вижу проплывающие облака.
Каменные дома и каменные улицы, застывшие навсегда.
Вижу пустые поля, глядящие в небо.

И одного человека, пересекающего пейзаж.

Я потеряла изображение.
И слышу теперь только звуки из подворотни,
шум проезжающих мимо машин,
беседу каких-то людей, обсуждающих жизнь,
тихий радиоголос в соседней комнате.

И шаги одного человека, пересекающего пейзаж.

I lost the sound.
And now see only mute trees.
See floating clouds.
Stone houses and stone streets, frozen forever.
See empty fields looking up at the sky.

And one person, crossing the landscape.

I lost the image.
And now hear only sounds from the gateway,
the noise of cars passing by,
conversation of some people discussing life,
a quiet radio voice in the next room.

And the steps of the one person, crossing the landscape.
